About This Place

Nestled in the heart of Falls Church, VA, Pho 75 stands out as a beloved Vietnamese restaurant specializing in authentic pho that has earned a reputation as the gold standard in the DMV area. This no-frills eatery focuses on delivering an exceptional culinary experience centered entirely on its namesake dish — pho — crafted with precision and passion.

The menu at Pho 75 is a testament to traditional Vietnamese comfort food, showcasing a variety of pho options designed to satisfy any craving. Signature selections like the iconic Pho 75, Phở Gà (Chicken Pho), Pho DAC Biet (special combination pho), and hearty Beef Soup are deeply rich in flavor and complexity. Each bowl boasts a fragrant, slow-simmered broth that captivates the senses with its balance of depth and subtlety, complimented by tender cuts such as slices of eye-round steak, well-done flank, fat brisket, soft tendon, and beef tripe.

Complementing these are fresh garnishes like basil, bean sprouts, jalapenos, and the essential hoisin sauce paired with Sriracha and fish sauce for dipping, allowing diners to tailor each spoonful to their liking. Beyond pho, you’ll find delightful accompaniments like Vietnamese iced coffee with condensed milk, salty lemonade, and soothing ginger tea — perfect drinks to round out the meal. For those with a sweet tooth, the dessert offerings such as jello with beans and coconut milk or dried fruits in light iced syrup provide a refreshing and authentic finish.

What truly defines the Pho 75 experience is its unpretentious and efficient atmosphere. The décor is simple, nothing flashy, emphasizing quality over ambiance. Customers appreciate the straightforward approach: cash only, quick service, and outstanding food that speaks for itself. Lines can be long during peak times, a testament to its popularity, but the wait is well worth it. As one regular notes, it’s a place to come prepared — know what you want and savor every flavorful bite.

Reviews consistently praise Pho 75 for the impeccable broth that warms and satisfies, especially on chilly days, the generous portion sizes, and the authenticity of the ingredients. Even as a pho novice, diners find themselves surprised by the harmonious flavors that elevate simple ingredients to a memorable dining experience. Minor service hiccups or the strict cash-only policy never overshadow the unwavering excellence of the bowls served here.

In essence, Pho 75 captures the soul of Vietnamese pho in a humble setting, delivering a soulful culinary journey that keeps patrons coming back time and time again. If you find yourself in Falls Church craving a deep, fragrant, and authentically crafted bowl of pho, Pho 75 awaits with open arms and a pot of broth that feels like home.

Cash only. The pho is outstanding, easily making this spot the gold standard for pho in the DMV area. You can order drip coffee with your pho, but there are no other side items on the menu—yet the pho alone is more than enough. Don’t expect much in terms of décor or service; they keep it simple and efficient. Once you order, the pho arrives quickly. Enjoy.

Best pho in town. Don’t expect 5 star level of customer service when you come here—bring cash, know what you want before you sit down, and have a great bowl of pho at a very reasonable price. This isn’t fine dining. I order to-go on the weekends because the dine-in line is long then.

Great food for the cold weather. The broth was flavorful. Place was packed even an hour before closing. Cash only, so make sure you bring enough money to pay at the cash register after you eat. One of the bowls they brought out to my table of 4 was wrong and they insisted they were right, but we still took it anyways - still yummy, just not what the person who got it wanted (different meat toppings). The staff and the restaurant feel like very authentic Vietnamese.

I was told by many online this is the best Pho in Northern Virginia. Even as a complete amateur to Pho, this was excellent. Decent portion even for a regular bowl, impeccable broth, and good cuts of meat. No fancy advertising or bells and whistles. You go in, order, then a bowl of Beef reincarnated into heaven. The only knock is that you should bring cash, aside from that it's worth a drive.
